Injustice: Gods Among Us Characters by Bernard Beneteau

Bernard Beneteau is currently a senior character artist at WB Games Chicago / Netherrealm Studios, who have released their latest game Injustice: Gods Among Us. The game featuring many DC superheroes such a Superman, Batman, Flash, etc and pit them against each other, on a Mortal Kombat fight style. Injustice have been receiving very positive response from the reviewer and currently got 81 on Metacritic.

Other than Injustice: Gods Among Us, Bernard have contribute to many other games like the 2011 critically acclaimed Mortal Kombat, and also Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe. These are some of Bernard Beneteau work on Injustice: Gods Among Us characters.

Remember Me Characters by Bastien Ramisse

As a continuation to our previous post, we feature another amazing individual that brought you the game Remember Me. This time it’s the character artist for Dontnod Entertainment, Bastien Ramisse. On Remember Me, Bastien contribute to some of the important character in the game, such as Gabriel Trace, Scylla and many other, he used Zbrush to sculpt the character, then retopo it on 3DCoat, texturing was done in Photoshop, and finally it’s integrated in Unreal for the game.

God Of War: Ascension Characters by Bryan Wynia

God Of War: Ascension is the latest installment in the God of War series, featuring the always angry protagonist, Kratos. In this game Kratos fight the Furies whose plan to overthrow Mount Olympus together with Ares. The action adventure series developed by Sony Santa Monica, one of Sony’s first party studios, and is a Sony Playstation 3 exclusive game. It is the first God of War game that brings multiplayer component.

The game feature series of awesome character, from the protagonist Kratos, to the highly detailed Cyclops. These characters are brought to life by Sony Santa Monica’s character artists, one of them are Bryan Wynia. As a senior character artist, Bryan responsible to some of the important characters in the game including Calliope, Kratos’s daughter. Before Sony Santa Monica, Bryan works for Naughty Dogs, the developer of Uncharted series, he also worked for Gentle Giant working on digital sculpting for various CG purpose.

Mass Effect 3 DLC Character by Herbert Lowis

Herbert Lowis, a character artist whose work we’ve featured here before, have update his portfolio with some of his latest creation. Herbert who currently work for Bioware, also involved in the development of Mass Effect 3, he created many of the characters in this highly rated game.

Herbert responsible for the Adjutant, Ann Bryson, Elcor and many other character in the game, from modelling, sculpting up until the texturing phase are part of his tasks. He also work on many characters for the DLC of Mass Effect 3, from the critically acclaimed “Leviathan” to “Citadel” Herbert have lend his skill to leverage the series DLC to another level.

Crysis 3 Characters and Weapon Concept Art by Timur Mutsaev

Timur Mutsaev currently a senior concept artist at Crytek Frankfurt, have been working with Crytek for 8 years and contribute to many cool titles of the company. Some of the game he have been working on are all the Crysis series and some older game such as Duke Nukem: Endangered Species, Desert Law, Evil Islands, Homeplanet, Derelict, Gorky 17 among others.

Before Crytek he’s been working with Action Forms and 1C Company as concept artist for those German company. Timur latest contribution are the concept art for Crysis 3 characters, weapons and props. He define the looks of Psycho, Rasch and many other, he also design the alien weapons used in the game.

Crysis 3 Characters by Manuel Virks

Crysis 3 the latest installment of the series made by Crytek has just been released and the reception so far has been very positive. Crysis series very well known for their cutting edge graphics with awesome characters, weapon, vehicles and environment, all well executed by the artists at Crytek.

One of the most important aspect of the game is the character, these cg human and alien are created by some of the most talented artist in the world. Manuel Virks is one of the artist responsible for the myriads of characters in Crysis 3, he’s responsible for Prophet, Psycho and Rash, all kick ass and well executed. Manuel has been working for Crytek since 2009 as a Senior Environment Artist, and become Senior Character Artist at 2011. He have worked on many Crytek titles such as Crysis 2, Ryse (not released yet) and the latest Crysis 3.

Before at Crytek Manuel Virks been working at Splash Damage as environment artist for Brink, also 2D/3D Artist at Cranberry Production working on Black Mirror 2 and Mata Hari.
